Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy is a series of small acoustic shocks (not electrical shocks) that are used to treat tendon and ligament ailments, osteoarthritis, non-displaced fractures, navicular syndrome and non-healing wounds.
The shockwaves are intended to increase the blood flow to the area, reduce pain and stimulate tendon, ligament and bone regeneration.
